Handball? What’s that?
Until now, my only experience of handball was back in secondary school when about 30 pubescent girls and boys turned our hopeful sport teacher’s game of handball into a rowdy game of dodgeball. Not quite what our teacher wanted, but fun nonetheless.
2016 is the first time EVER that the Dutch Women’s Handball team will compete in the Olympic Games. Before they head off to Rio to make history, they will be here in Eindhoven to compete against world class teams Russia, Sweden, and Montenegro in the Four Country Tournament (4 landentoernooi).
