Are you a runner who likes hills, long runs off the beaten track, and a little madness? Then this may just be the event you are looking for!
Hill Repeat Madness is happening this Saturday, 21 October at the Gulbergen in Nuenen / Mierlo. But what is it, exactly? Albert van Dommelen from Trail Runners Brabant explains:
It’s a course that’s 1300m long with elevations of 40+ metres and every hour runners will change direction! You can choose to run for 2, 4, or 6 hours and the person who completes the most laps is the winner.
The course is on an unsealed dirt track and the use of poles is allowed. There will be a water station along the route but it’d be great if you bring your own mug or re-usable bottle – it’s so much better for the environment. There will also be a masseuse for free post-running massages (but there’s no guarantee that s/he will be able to work on each and every runner). And there is the option to join a BBQ at the local golf course after the run.
So if you’d like some Hill Repeat Madness you can register here .
