10 days, 10 ways – Number 6

Are you a goal setter? Looking for a challenge? Need some time to train? Want an amazing atmosphere? Number 6 in our countdown is the event for you!

Two words: Eindhoven Marathon! But it’s not just a marathon. It’s a whole weekend of running events for everyone on 13 / 14 October.

On Saturday evening, you can join in the 5KM4ALL – this is for walkers, skaters, nordic walkers, hand bikers, parents with prams, and everyone from the age of 12.

Not quite long enough? Then maybe the 10km night run is something for you? Liza, our resident foodie, and I did this one last year. Despite the pouring rain and wind, it was a great run with some amazing crowds cheering everyone on along the route.

Sunday is the traditional marathon day, but if you’re not quite up for 42.2km, why not get out in support of the runners somewhere along the route? There is also the half marathon, the 5km, and the mini marathon – a 1.6km for everyone 4 years and older.

Ready to run? You still have 48 days to train!
