I’m not one for resolutions, but as 2018 fast approaches, I am up for a new challenge. Enter R.E.D January.
What is this challenge all about?
R.E.D January stands for Run Every Day in January. Not a runner? No problem. You can also walk (or swim, dance, lift – whatever you like) your way through January. It’s your challenge. So you decide how far you want to go each day. It’s free to join, and anyone, anywhere can participate. MIND UK is the official charity partner, so you also have the option to fundraise, if you like. For any fundraising efforts, you’ll receive a shiny medal to start, or add to, your 2018 collection!
But why, why would anyone do this?!
My first thought is, why not?! But the organizers explain it far better than I can:
The aim is to get active every day. By running every day in January, you can kick-start the year in the most positive way possible, helping to make a difference to people’s lives, including your own. Beat the blues in January. Get R.E.D.
I’ve already registered, and will alternate between running and walking. Every Monday you can check out my progress through this blog, on Facebook, and IG! You can also update your progress, too. Let’s get RED together!
Register here by 31 December.
